SafeBoot is sold in China via a completely Chinese owned company
(Hastings Technology Ltd www.hastings.com.hk). I did not say the
product had to be owned by a Chinese company. Hasting sells SafeBoot
in China, not SafeBoot Corp etc. Hastings own the import certification
on our behalf.
Putting my conspiracy theory hat on, I think part of the Chinese
regulation is to give competitive advantage to Chinese companies which
can be regulated and influenced more than Western companies but, who
knows. Regardless, Hasings do a superb job of representing us and the
staff are both excellent and great fun.
