[FDE] Hardware FDE solution

I am researching possible hardware FDE solutions for laptops. The hard drives need to be PATA compatible. I've identified two possible products:

My questions are: 
- Are there any other vendors that offer products with similar features? 
- How much consideration should be given to security certifications? 

I've also considered Seagate Momentus drives, but it looks like they still do not have a working product and when they do it will not support PATA and of course they do not have any international security accreditation.

I would really appreciate any thoughts and feedback especially from folks who already use one of these hardware FDE solutions!
