[FDE] UK Police Want the DNA of Children

Don't they watch sci-fi? An implantable chip in every child is a much better 
option. Not only can it be used for identification purchases (like DNA), it 
could also be used for real-time tracking of all "tagged" persons. That 
information could also be recorded, virtually eliminating crimes (would 
someone commit a crime if their steps were being tracked and electronically 
recorded?). Crime as we know it would cease to exist.

Other implications include rapid response to abducted children (a crime that 
would go down drastically anyway if the criminal knew there was even a 
chance that the child was tagged).

Yes, I'm playing devil's advocate. But is this widespread tagging a 
dystopian nightmare, or the future of security?
